A key to our success is securing an experienced Process Technician (Tanks, Mill, Dewatering) to join our processing team located at our clients Tennant Creek operation in the Northern Territory. THE PROJECT Coil Group is responsible for the commissioning and ongoing operations and maintenance of Tennant Consolidated Mining Group’s (TCMG) Nobles Nob 840ktpa Gravity/CIL Processing Plant centred on the historic Nobles Nob mine site in the Northern Territory. The site is situated approximately 15km east of Tennant Creek, one of the historically highest-grade gold mining towns in Australia. We are assembling a core team to execute the commissioning, operation, maintenance, and ongoing optimisation of this newly relocated and rebuilt plant, with commissioning set to begin in March 2025. Backed by substantial resources and a highly driven owner, this role offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a significant impact from the ground up and helping shape the future of the business. THE ROLE Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, productive, and practical operation of the grinding, leaching, adsorption and dewatering systems in an efficient manner to maximise economic return. You will ensure you maximise the utilisation of the processing plant with due consideration for safety, people, and the environment, maintain stated reagent concentrations and monitor usage, as well as maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all areas including undertaking clean-up tasks in a timely manner and actively fix or suggest strategies to reduce future spillages. The role requires attention to detail to perform thorough pre-start checks to report any faulty equipment, incidents, and or hazards to supervisors as well as participate in drafting JSEA’s and hazard ID’s when and as required. This role is available for immediate start, on a 2:2 roster. Mobilisation will be from Tennant Creek, Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs and Mt Isa, or on a residential roster with bonus. Interstate mobilisation available for the right applicant. DIDO options for local candidates will be considered. ABOUT YOU This role would suit a driven Process Technician ready for the challenge.
