Mechanical Fitter Machinist - Fixed Plant Experience (FIFO)
The project is ongoing with long term roles available and opportunity for personal development. Successful candidates will enjoy the benefits and opportunities that come with working in a self sufficient, small team environment. Mobilisation will be from chartered plane via Cairns / Townsville respectively. TASKS INCLUDE: Carry out routine maintenance regime to mechanical equipment. Routine and emergency rebuild of mechanical equipment. Condition monitoring of plant equipment. Knowledge and use of CMM systems. Ability to liaise with operational management and work to timelines for production and statutory compliance. WHAT YOU NEED: Further to Australian recognised trade certificates, the following experience and Australian accreditations are required; Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining fixed process plant equipment and ancillary machinery First Aid Class C Drivers Licence Police Clearance The following Australian accreditations are not a requirement but will be looked upon favourably for the benefit of the project; CN (Non-slewing Crane) Riggers Ticket Confined Spaces Working at Heights Gas Test Atmospheres Telehandler Front End Loader Demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance planning WHAT WE PROVIDE: Remuneration is above award plus superannuation. Casual with the potential to go Fixed-Term, Long-Term. Rostering is 2:2 including travel days. Successful candidates will be provided transportation from Townsville/Cairns to site, accommodation and messing in purpose built camp facilities approx. 5min from site.
